Theodore and Yvonne Hunter-Johnson III

Poon, born in Ferriday, moved to Los Angeles with his family at 6 months old. He graduated high school in Compton, CA., 1960 (Centennial High).  Served 4 years in the Marine Corps, then played 5 years of professional baseball for the L.A. Dodgers organization. It was during those years as a ball player that he met and later married Yvonne.  Worked for Standard Oil as a plant operator and lab technician before becoming a teamster driver for 17 years, then retired due to an injury.

He has five children shown below:  Kelley, from his first marriage, and he and Yvonne have four children: Sean, Torrey, Jaime, and Blake.  They currently live in Jamestown, NY, which is located in the western part of the state.
