FAMILY UPDATE
October 28, 2011

1. Brother Bobby is now employed with GSA Wholesale of New Orleans. He is getting his life back even better. The Lord is blessing him daily.

2. Sonna and Buckley Ruff are now back in Sacramento enjoying their married lives.

3. Willie is stationed at the Hupa Indian Reservation on a three month medical assignment. He loves the Redwood Trees and the Klamath River. He says this part of California is so beautiful. He is 80 miles from the Oregon Border.

4. Inell is looking forward to the Thanksgiving Holiday. She wants relatives to visit her in Pensacola. Expect lots of food and lively talking !

My oldest daughter, Sonna Aminata Thigpen will wed Buckley "Buck" Ruff in a private wedding ceremony on Saturday, September 24th at 3:00 PM in the afternoon in Incline Village (Lake Tahoe). This will be an "adults" event. Local hotels in Reno, Nevada are close by for any family and friends who may want to attend. Invitations will be sent only to those persons who are truly interested in actually attending this event. These will be mailed out in the month of July.

Raymond Burns, age 27, son of Mildred Johnson, was found dead in Los Angeles, California on Sunday April 10, 2011. That's all the information we have right now. Our condolences and prayers to the immediate family. Anyone wanting to send a donation towards funeral expenses can mail to:

I am planning on attending the event (Aunt Dee Dee's birthday celebration). I am also attending the 85th Birthday Celebration for my Mom, Inell Teresa Johnson in Pensacola, Florida on Saturday, March 12th 3pm at the home of my brother, Patrick Allen Johnson. He is the host.
