History

The Johnson Family Crest, pictured on the right side of our logo and designed by our own Sean Johnson-Taylor, represents the history of the Johnson family.

The nine circles at the top represent the nine branches of the Johnson Family descending from Tom Allen Johnson through his son, Theodore 'Papa Thedo' Johnson Sr. (represented by the crown).  The rooster stands for the farming background of our ancestors.  The horse has always been connected to the Johnson Family.  It's been said that as young men, Theodore 'Dutch' Johnson Jr. and his brother, Louis Johnson Sr., broke horses for the United States Army.  The crossed swords represent the rich history of military service by the Johnson Family as can be seen throughout our website.
